Thanks for the info. I already have some Half Fast spoons I got a while back, a local discount tackle dealer had them for a dollar each. I took the hooks off and added swivels and use them as dodgers, you're right they throw some serious thump. TM

I've got the 6" model. I'll give it a shot next time out. I like the big Manistee wobblers as dodgers and the Hagen's 4" Crow spoon has worked well for me.

I'm with SuperD on not stopping, if you keep going your other gear is still fishing. Stopping would in most cases mean having to reel in your other gear, not an easy task if fishing by yourself.
