I drove by LP this morning and didn't see any fishing boat by the dam area. All boat docks at Sheep Creek were dry. They really drain the reservoir quick. It's 83% full so it's 17' down? I might go to LP on Friday morning to soak my gear as well.

I fished in LP couple times in June and caught few Kok, by the end of June I got my Kok. limit. I hope there will be some good fishing in Fall. Arrowrock reservoir is only 45% full and Anderson reservoir is 79% full. After Labor Day LP water level will be down 1'/day too. Time is going fast...

Yes and those smoke kok. didn't last very long. Last Saturday we had friends (3 married couple)came over for Kokanee BBQ. We gave them 2 fish per couple when they went home, that's way we can go out and fish some more.

Hi hooknhunter, The rainbow trout is good eating fish, but we (wife and I) are prefer the Kokanee. If the rainbow trout get a chance to survive then I'll release them. The trout I released today about 14 ~ `15".
