    Createx Paints

Yeah that, but can you explain your process in a little more detail Captain Ron? I had the same issue with DN at first, but I figured out what caused it (for me anyway).

    Off Season Creativity?

Something like that. This originally started out as a test to see how life-like I could paint a fish. I've always thought it would be fun to try and paint a fiberglass mold for a fish mount. I figured that a shark would be easy - not too many colors and no scales! After I formed it (clay) I...

    Mother of pearl

JBT What I do is after shaping and sanding the plug I mark the eye location and the mouth while it's spinning on the lathe. After I cut the ends off, I then use the belt sander and sand down to the mouth line - mine are the same distance back from the front as the diameter at the mouth. I built...

    Off Season Creativity?

I haven't had much time to do anything different lately other than playing around with colors. My plan is to get caught up with some plugs that I owe people. I did finish some other non-fishing time killers here and there just to break up the monotony.

    glow in the dark

Far and away Dick Nite (Dick Nite Spoons)!! He has some glow paint that really works well, but it works best painted over a white base. How do you plan on painting? I've only used it for dipping, but it can be sprayed.

    Glo beads

Good point, the beads I have on order supposedly glo for 15-20 min (at least thats whats advertized on the site). I guess I'll find out when I get them. By the way, for what I'm using them for, it isn't necessary for them to glo, I just thought they might as well be glo beads if I was going to...

    Glo beads

I just ordered 4,000 beads. Not too bad for cost, it's the shipping that gets ya (shipped form Canada). 1,000 beads for 5.95 x4 (min $20 order before shipping) shipping 10.99 total 34.79 Kokonuts, hopefully I'll be able to go through these quickly, I really don't have any idea until the...

    Glo beads

Hagen's looks like it would work. I had been looking at getting some (2,000+) from a few manufacturers, but the minimum order is like 10,000 - but they are cheap.

I am hoping someone can help me out. I've been looking around for a source for buying 5mm Glo beads in bulk. Does anyone know where you can find them? Thanks in advance, Rob

    2011 boat projects?

F_M, I thought those would work forever also, maybe I just got some duds (2 sets?) I'm not 100%, but I THINK they were Grote ind.??? I only came to this conclusion by lookin online at pics of LED light kits. The ones I had were round. I see the Optronics are rectangular. Good luck with them! I...

    2011 boat projects?

MM - based on what I can tell from the pics of what you've done to your ride, if this could be done, you'd probably be the only one who could do it!
