    Trollmaster Pro II?

I just ordered my Pro Troll II for my Merc. After seeing a few guys running them at Wallowa last weekend, I felt it was time. Going back and forth from the helm to the stern was not fun during wind gusts. Can't wait to try it at Merwin and Prineville!

Sthoge, Was that you in the Trophy? I was with my father-in-law in the alumaweld. We didn't do as good as we hoped, but it was fun. John

    Merwin 2010 Reports

Fished today from about 1-3:15 and got my limit of Kokanee. A good day to be on the water and to fine tune before my trip to Wallowa. It has been 3 years, and I can't wait to get back. Tight Lines!

    Kokanee taste vs. King Salmon

I would have to say that a good, fresh spring chinook is hard to beat. The flesh is bright, bright, red and full of flavor. The summer chinook which are bigger, tend to have the pink color flesh, and not a lot of flavor. Here are some examples of the fine specimens..

    Lake Merwin

Well, I made out to Merwin this morning for my first visit there. I have to say it was a beautiful day and a beautiful lake. Just hooked one Kokanee, but lost it at the boat. Since it was my first time on the lake, I did not know where to fish. I know I will be back, but next Saturday is...

No Sticker, but I improvised! Since I am new to the forum, and wanted to get in on the action. Like in the movie HeartBreak Ridge, I improvised. John
