Yikes! Definitely not prop water, sorry I didn’t think to mention that! It was definitely an up and down year on the Clearwater for me and people I know. I only made it out a couple times and lost one, never landed a Clearwater fish this year, well outside of the confluence in town.

I personally wouldn’t worry about the boat itself (I’d still put a tongue lock on it) but definitely people going through the contents.

I’m not close enough to be useful for the parking probably but your right to be nervous about leaving your boat in that area unfortunately.

In my experience there are fish at the dam pretty much year round, this years yearlings aren’t migrating toward spawning streams and by late fall they’ll be the 8” class fish you’ll find down there, in my opinion.

We fished elk river arm Saturday since it’s got some relatively flat shore for the kids right now, managed 4 out of 8 or 10 bites. Saw a report on Facebook from a guide that did much better upstream from the dent bridge. Hoping to try up there next weekend.

Thanks for the info, I’ll have to take a look at my settings when I get home, I usually set my depth range to 60’. I’m real curious now what frequency I’ve been running. I think I still need to mess with me sensitivity settings some more.
