you can try gloves, or, just put a bit of scent on your fingers PRIOR to rigging/baiting up.

heard there have been some caught on the little river. havent heard of anything on the main. i think they just reduced the limit to one adult on the main clearwater too.

agreed. we only boated two little guys by the dam, at 20' & 25'. started off this a.m. at spring shores. saw nobody catching fish, anywhere. marked a lot between 30'-35'.

    Early Deadwood Report

well, my crazy buddies flew in to deadwood on monday and had a pretty successful afternoon. they packed an inflatable, electric motor and a battery with them. ha ha. they forgot a long handled net, which they said was the main problem. kept loosing them at the raft. they managed to land 7. said...

    lowrance structure scan

must be for you. i dont own ANY hds. ha ha. keep us posted on how well it works for you. i've heard they run ideal about 3-4mph. i'd be curious to know how well they work at slower trolling speeds...say .8 - 2mph. anyway, you're a lucky dog. those things look awesome!!

    Camas

well, you could not have asked for a more beautiful day on the water. in the boat by 8:00am and calm as could be. first fish boated by 8:05am, and it stayed that way until we decided to leave around 2:30pm. lots of things worked well, but once we started trolling w/silver/red super dupers w/2 #4...

    Camas

for those trout fishermen, i've heard some stellar reports about camas. neighbor went two days ago and killed em. buddy went today with he same results. hearing about lots of 16"-20" fish. nice when that place gets a couple of years of good hold over. cant take it so i'm heading over first thing...

    CJ Crappie??

doesnt seem like they're biting anywhere. my buddy fished owyhee saturday and they caught three. he talked to a lot of boats and none were having any luck. he went two weeks ago and had the same results. they'll turn on one of these days.

    thats pretty cool.

    What do you think...

i think it would be kind of nice if there were a few "official" kokanee fishing report threads for specific popular fisheries, such as lucky peak, arrowrock and anderson. maybe start fresh ones each year. everyone could report and view updates in one place, instead of having piles of new threads...

    Any coyote hunters out there

if thats all you have in your arsenal, it'll work. but thats the last thing i'd choose for a yote gun. .220, .223, .22-250, .243, etc. you dont need the big guns. small, fast and straight is the ticket.

    new "non kokanee" boat

made the drift saturday. glad i didnt hit the boise. i'm not quite as coordinated with oars as i thought i'd be. picked it up pretty quick, but still have a lot of practice needed. didnt bring much for fishing gear, but talked to a couple guys anchored about 1 1/2 miles below the marsing bridge...

    Lucky Peak Lake Trout
