thanks mike. glad you had a great experience also. i finally got to put some wear on my new revo reel. throwing buzz bombs on a fairly light steelhead set up made it even more fun. amazing how much fight those humpy's have in them!!

    Kokanee Candy Bars

when i smoke kokanee/trout, i am usually using a wet brine. the only thing i do is remove the heads. after brine, let rest for a couple hours to drain/dry. this is when i fire up the smoker to get to temp. i place the whole, unskinned fish in the the smoker. i flip the fish a couple times during...

    Gear for L.P.

nothing wrong with it at all. the eggloop knots are just what i prefer to tie. super easy for me to do up. its all about sticking with what you know.

    Gear for L.P.

thats a pretty cool knot. i tied one up....and its pretty easy. the problem is this. on smaller size hooks (i was using a #6), getting the "pimp" loop through the eye of the second hook is an absolute pain in the butt!! i could have tied 5 regular double egg loops in the amount of time this one...

    Gear for L.P.

i hate to disappoint you, but thats what mine are too. they are just a double egg loop knot. i tried looking up that video you refered to, but couldnt find it. i found one of a guy in a oregon sweatshirt tying a double egg loop. i didnt like the way he did it though. they are pretty simple once...

    Deadwood Kokes

we fished deadwood two weeks ago and did pretty darn good. we havent been there in 15 years and just wanted to get up there. put in on the north side of the reservoir and mainly trolled the cut bank on the west side. did catch some down by the dam and near the islands too. we landed 22 and...
