Heading up. Where's the action? The dam end or the far end?

Caught one small koke and a trout last night by the dam. One on the downrigger at 25 feet and the trout at 10'. Koke on a green hoochie and the trout on a worm behind a dodger. Water temp was 43.5. Fished for 3 hours.

@terek what area of arrowrock are you having success with? I had a tough time locating them.

Water temp is 39.8 as of last Friday.

Looked like chocolate milk with a sprinkling of water.

5 hours, 3 fishermen, one small trout. Tried every lure in the tackle box. Found lots of fish on the fish finder but couldn't interest them. Bald eagle near the marina all day.

Got skunked for the first time ever in this boat, and also my first time getting skunked at Arrowrock. Fished from 3 until sunset. Only one bite.

Fishing was really slow for us today. Marked large schools on the fish finder but couldn't get them to bite. Only caught one--my slowest ever day at lucky peak. Arrowrock yesterday was better.

The report I got from someone who has been going is that the arrowrock fishing is hot right now. He was trolling 4.5" rapalas kinda fast at 2-3 mph. He said the fish are scattered between 5 and 25 feet. I heard the road isn't great but is passable. I'm heading up tomorrow to try it out.

Well, I'm going for it on Saturday. Looks like wind will be low with temps up to 58 degrees. Spring shores #1 has 50' of water on it, and the kokes are calling. Is this a horrible idea, or a fantastic idea?
