That sounds great............ and very similar to what I commented. I didn't think about the seasons and I also listed Thorpe (Glenville) Lake as another option. Hopefully they'll as least consider it........

I'm with ya. I did go on and comment that I would like to see management of Kokanee and even see them consider stocking in other area lakes. Some of the more experienced fishermen could likely make better recommendation to them......

Just a note: Now is the perfect time to make recommendations. The NCWRC is taking comments on it's site and upcoming meetings. These are proposals for the coming years regulation changes, etc......... Great opportunity to make suggestions to them. Here's the link...

I'm determined to learn - The weather does seem to be worse for fishing this week. Guess it's the time to be scheduled for work. My plan is to make it up June 3rd and maybe 4th.......... Good Luck to you if you make it up there!

I did make the trip......... Did mark lots of kokes, but didn't boat one this trip. Being a newbie to this, I'm sure I'll have my learning/growing pains.......... Will try again hopefully during the first week of June.... Good luck to all!

Nice Kokes ............... Planning on making a trip to Natahala in the mourning. Will be my first shot at kokes - been wanting to give them a shot and finally gonna try. Hope to get a few walleye to............... Will let ya know how it goes......

I'm in NC so I'm limited to only one local lake for kokes. However, I do have a interest in making some trips out to other lakes. I've had a interest growing for some time now, but just recently bit the bullet and started my quest for knowledge.

I appreciate the add to the group. I'm totally new to Kokanee and have no experience to speak of. I'm reading and learning from any sources I can find in hopes of expanding my knowledge. I've already read many posts on here that are very informative, and have added greatly to my limited...
