With a little use controlling the switch won't be a problem.
I found using my thumb and forefinger on the switch makes it easier to stop.
If you only bought 1 and you can use 2 rods or fish with friends you'll soon have 2 and since friends don't let...
Looks like you did a great job on the installation!
Big Jon's have a 10 or 12 amp resettable CB built-in depending on the model / motor.
If you wired directly to the battery like I did you're fine.
Not really necessary to wire to a fuse block unless you want to have a power control switch...
