I've only found em April may. Then they are gone. They have to be somewhere... Wondering if people deal with this in other lakes???

Were still catching fish. Landed 75 yesterday. Does ANYONE have any info on targeting larger fish? I have lucked into a school 3 times of fish 12-14" and landed a 16.5" koke. I've only found these fish in the early season and have been unable to target them repeatedly.

4/15 57, 4/18 25 with my 5 year old in 2.5 hours. Buddy caught 44 on sat. I'll be out there Thursday and headed further up the lake on Friday.

Update Launched at 6:00 fished canyon Creek until 2:00 landed 57. Lots of short strikes fish were really picky but once we figured out what they liked we chipped away at them.

Seems like not many are fishing dworshak this year??? Was doing ok earlier in the year had my slowest day ever Wednesday 4/7 with only 13 in the boat. Trying again Thursday hoping for a better bite.

Rick I have noticed they really aren't schooling up much. That's related to the cooler water temps? How late in the year do you generally fish? This is my first really serious year kokanee fishing and I'm hooked. Learning a lot but have much more to learn.

Have not been on in a while. Been doing well on dworshak. Fished from 6-2 today. Landed 36 and had great weather!

Only one that size. Many others not as big.

What's the largest kokanee cought in the dworshak? We caught a 16.5" koke yesterday.

Canyon creek has been good to me all month so far.

I'm curious if anyone thinks different parts of the lake or different schools carry larger or smaller fish? I've heard reports of people catching a larger class of fish than the 7-10 inchers I have been landing. Out of 190 fish this year my largest is 10.5 so far.

Had an interesting experience yesterday. Went kokanee fishing with my buddy yesterday on his 21' custom weld. We used his kicker motor. Long story short, same location, same gear, using my rods and tackle. We only caught around 20. Fishing all day long. Is that really all come down to a kicker...

No secrets. Running 4" Mack's dodgers. Or beer cans. 2oz at 25 feet on the front rods. 1oz at 30-40 feet on the back rods. Garlic salt corn worked good. And pink maggots.
