Ochoco 5/29, 6/7 2024 Limited last couple Fridays on rainbows... kept 12-14" and released smaller ones. Chunky with red meat. 18' down, 1.2-1.4mph.

Welcome to the forum. I fished for kokanee years ago with a Colorado pontoon with a trolling motor. I had it set up with a make shift downrigger. If you know the depth they hang out at the lake you fish cut a piece of thin rope that length, attach some weight on the end with a release clip...

My go to color has been the color blue... black is also a great choice. Darker colors have more contrast down deep. Of course with kokanee some days you end up using every color in the tackle box... 101duh101

Paulina 8/14... Most consistant bite of the last couple years if you were able to find them. Limited with 12-13 inchers... biggest was 13.25". Let a few smaller ones go and lost a few half way in. All caught trolling customized Apex's behind a Sep's watermelon dodger 35' down at 1.2-1.4 mph...
