    Lake powell 08/23-24

Had an awesome invite to powell with some non-fisherman on their houseboat and couldnt turn it down!! Made the best of it getting out in the mornings and whacked the fish. Stripers, bass, panfish cats and walleye all willingly gobbled up sonic baitfish! Boils were scarce, but did get into a...

    cats and panfish

Been giving the kokes and trout a break and fishing for other fun fish to catch close to home in northern utah. The bite is literally non stop! Been catching bass, panfish and catfish in the bear river and newton reservoir! Basic jigging with minnows and worms is as simple and fun as it gets!

    Fontanelle 7-15-2020

I love fontanelle, we fish it mostly through the ice. It is a fun lake with good koke, brown, rainbow, and burbot fishing! I love that you can be there for 2 or 3 days and only see a half a dozen rigs show up!

Finally got more than a couple hours of fishing on some waters close to home. Trolled various colors and style of cranks for the most part and caught wallaye, wipers, cats, and crappie. fun Hot day with very few pleasure boaters!

    The gorge, again...06/29/20

i agree it would be nice to be able to take home a nice haul, but I also enjoy the larger fish that tend to show up on the wyoming side of the reservoir..... 3 big kokes produce nearly as much table fare as 6 decent kokes. Im no biologist, but I think Wyoming koke fishing at the gorge is good...

    The gorge, again...06/29/20

Bombed up to the gorge to bring home the trailer, but not without trying to whack a few kokes in the crappy rainy weather.... Fished about 3 hours in the rain and caught a handful of kokes and trout on wiggle hoochies behind a sling blade. Hooked up the trailer and bombed home! 7 hours or...

    Gorge 6/15-6/16

It definitely slowed down from April and may, not seeing as many fish on sonar, and when we found fish you didn't want to leave em, they all seemed to be tightly schooled together. Didn't really catch any fish near the surface like we have been either.

    Bear lake 04/21/20

Couldn't turn down a day trip with my dad to beautiful Bear Lake Tuesday, and it was nice! Fished from 8-2 and there was not barely a lick of wind all day and never had another boat within a mile of us! Ended up with 2 cuttys and 2 lakers. 3 of the fish came on Sling blades and a cripplure on...
