I am with you Trent, the boards (except ice shanty) seem to get way less traffic these days. I blame facebook;) I would have reported that I have been killing the Kokes at Fontenelle for 5 weeks or so, lots of 2.5-3.5 pound fish (with a 6 fish limit)...but nobody looks at the page anyways.....

There is no doubt that the quality of the flesh declines the closer the fish are to spawning, especially considering that kokanee flesh is on the tender side in the best of conditions. And there is no comparison between an ocean caught, bright sockeye and a red colored river caught fish...

No one posts here, but I have been absolutely killing the Kokes since the end of April! Long lining spinner/squid combos for easy limits of 14"-18" fish before 9 am. Caught one last Sunday that was 19" and 3 pounds 10 ounces after bleeding out!
