Looks like a great solution. My length of chain is rubber coated but I don't that will last very long before it starts breaking down and crumbling over the deck. Where would one get that stuff you used?

Regular old pipe insulation works for me. Although I will admit the colored stuff is pretty cool looking. I think the pool noodles material is a bit more durable as well. I may have to switch out when the pipe insulation dies. Darn more stuff to buy!
