    Just back from Crescent

Fished Monday thru Thursday. People at the dock when we got there were complaining about 2-4 days of fishing without even a bite. Monday, Tuesday, and Wed were slow as we tried everything and our old haunts(been fishing there 50 years) and we only had about 12 bites for 3 days fishing...

Wallowa Better make reservations right away for Wallowa State Park, and reserve a moorage or You will have to take your boat out and put it in every morning after the gate opens at 6-630 am. as they lock the gate. to the ramp.

    Attaching lake trolls to downrigger

Trolls to the weight. If You use a UV dodger, I am convinced that the flasher tied to the weight is of no consequence, especially later in the season, when we run the dodger and hootchie thing 30-40 feet back from the boat. Another option is to pait the ball with UV paint, or put UV tape on...

    Wallowa Lake

The house is rented(with a dock) and all 6 guys are ready to roll. We got some new info off of NW Angler and shasta bait, and are anxious to try out the new hootchies and sling blades they are offering this year. We were there in early July but the shrimp made it spotty with only 14 fish over...
