WOW Once again it was an amazing trip to the Gorge. We had fun, friends, food, and fish. My silver Apex caught at least 50 % of my fish. See you out there Tortuga

Wind The Gorge is the only place I've ever been actually worried about getting back! We had a 17' Valco westcoaster and were taking water over the bow and stern cuz of the swirling wind....one of the main reason's my wife made me upgrade to a heavy metal Fish-Rite.

CA boat We try to time it so we go through during open hours so we've never had a real problem...it is a hassle going from lucerne to buckboard and having to re inspect. Heck it's usually easier than the lines at some of our local lakes! See you out there Tortuga

We still have over 4 months and I'm already getting ready with trailer and rv stuff...something to keep me busy til we can go. One more year and my plans get really flexible. My last day working is June 3rd 2017...course I'm off all summer. We school teachers sure have it rough!
