2013-2016 Idaho Kokanee Fishing Reports Quick Links

Spent the last two days at LP. Kokes kicked my butt. Just call me "On and Gone!" Hooked a dozen or so all on the top lines. Pink Sling blades, pink wiggle hootchies, shoe peg, 1 oz sinker, 100 feet back. The trout seemed to like a green Apex with a green Sling blade. Oh well, NEXT TIME!!!

    good deep cycle charger

I just got two from NAPA. They have several models. Mine were $50.00 each. No room for an on board charger. They are the yellow triangular shaped ones. Work Great! Check them out...Good Luck, Sal

    Gas prices, what's your plans???

I'm going to stay longer. It costs too much to go home and go to work to make more money to buy more gas just to go back again.......

    Kokanee Class 2011

I'm in for Friday. What do I need to bring? I attended last year and it was worth waaaay more than it cost me. If someone wants to learn about catching kokes, this is THE PLACE for it. Lots of info to absorb in four hours. Get on board, you won't regret it.

    First timer looking for help

If you're by yourself, why bother with a set of downriggers? If you need to get down with more than one line, you might try a stacker or a shuttlehawk. Just my "less than $.02" worth. When it comes to koke fishing, especially at Wallowa, I'm two kokes and about six hours ahead of you. Welcome...
