Don't give up on L.P. fishing early today and caught 9 in three hours. Kept 5 koks that were 16" plus. It was in a spot I never fished before. Maybe I need to quit going to the old fished out spots and find new.

slow fishing Went to Turner last night and only boated nine. We did not fish as hard as most nights. Fish are all over the place and we had to switch lures in the last hour to get our last 5. Squid only caught 20% of the fish. One trout gets to see another day as well. Happy fishing!

snubbers Thanks Skookum 9 and Mojo for the info. I'll run up in the morning and try one with and one without a snubber. Last Tuesday eve at LP I don't think it would have mattered. They pounded my bait, many had both hooks in them. I'll let you know.

snubbers What is the best color of snubber? My worry is that it might distract the fish from the real prize.

snubber I have never used a snubber with my downrigger, but I have behind a trolling weight. If you have a soft rod would it still help?
