Fished GP today. Started at 8AM, bite really turned on at 11AM- had 15 (by myself) and lost another 10 or so by 2PM. Kokes are 14" and fat... Chrome/ hammered 4/0 dodger with a pink/white hoochie spinner tipped with WS corn scented with herring and anise trolled at 40 feet with downriggers...

Folks, I am new to Kokanee fishing- fished my first time for them at Green Peter last weekend. Hooked 9, lost 7- so I know I need to do a gentler job playing them.. My question is- have you noticed if the downrigger ball will spook fish- towards midday I suddenly had difficulty finding...

Tried GP today for the first time- first time fishing for Kokanee... Caught 2 fish (11-12"). Lost 5 or 6 more- must get used to thier soft mouths... Fish were 35-40 ft, caught using a downrigger, hoochie spinner or Macks Kokanee Pro. Chartruse in AM, blue/ red later in day + White shoepeg...
