I had a 20 foot pontoon and mounted two scottys on 13 in. seat bases, I also cut a hole in the middle of the floor and put a 50 thrust minn kota just ahead of the main motor I could control it from the drivers seat and use the main motor for a rudder. I sure do miss that boat. I hope that helps

How about cutting a hole in the floor of your pontoon boat about three feet in front of the big motor and putting the electric trolling motor there on a mount, then use the big motor as the tiller?

I just got the Lamiglas CG70DR Classic Glass 7' downrigger rods this year they are great, got two at BiMart on sale $34.00 each. I also bought a Lamiglas CGR762L 7'6" Team Kokanee rod at sportsmans for about $72.00for long lineing. All have Okuma magda pro 20dlx line counter reels.

All I use is shoepeg corn out of the can, put some in plastic bags. Open a can of tuna in oil and pour the oil into a container. Add some of the oil to the bag of corn then top off with some Garlic powder. Simple and cheep, you also get some tuna for a sandwich!

Launched at cresup about 6:00 went to campers hideaway started to troll no luck until the slide then upped the idle on the trolling motor and in about thirty min. had my limit. 1/2 ounce banana, 65 feet back , ford fender and a pink hootchie with tuna corn. What a great day!!!

Went to Merwin at 5:30 this morning rained all morning caught 3 lost about 5, I tried so many things lost count, definitely not as good as the past couple of weeks. Yale very slow, need some sunshine hopefully it will come soon? Twinkies and coffee were good.

Fished Yale on Sunday long six hours 2 kokes, nice day and great launch.

Thanks I was just a little upset after a long winter of no fishing but two great days of fishing and I feel a lot better.

I fished Merwin this morning we caught 10 fish in about 45 minutes. Two questions if gas is going to cost so much can't they raise the limit to 10 fish. And why can't they open the cresup day park all year long? What a waste of a good launch and parking lot!
