    2013 Green Peter Report Thread

I took my first trip there on the 11th. I would guess the water level was 15-20 ft. from full pool. The launch was good, plenty of water but the lower dock is not floating yet. What surprised me most was all of the boats that were there, we showed up around 1p.m. and the parking lot was 3/4...

2012 Official Green Peter Report Thread

Haven't fished GP since June and have been trying to find a hole in my schedule for a run up there. I notice that everyone seems to be fishing around the Island. In the past I have had better luck down near the dam this time of year, has anyone worked that end of the reservoir? Has the water...

    Depth Sounder/Fish Finder

I have the Lorance model and we get along fine, it's my first depth finder so, don't have experience with any others. The Lorance has more options on it than I know what to do with, (sort of like my cell phone). Should spend more time getting to know the unit, but when I get on the water I am...

    Green Peter 7/1

Yep, pretty darn windy! We got there a little after 1:00, mostly I wanted to try out some new equipment. I ran down to the dam and trolled with the wind all the way to the Island. The fish started out small, but got bigger the further from the dam. Blue or purple seemed to be the color...

    Green Peter Res

Thanks for the report! I didn't do as good on Sunday, but it was still pretty good. Was fishing down near the dam running at 45' with a Dick Nite dodger, violet and pink, with a Rocky Mountain squid/spinner of the same color on one down rigger and purple sling blade with purple wiggle hoochie...

2012 Official Green Peter Report Thread

Odell Fished Odell on Sunday, it was very windy from the start so, didn't get alot of quality fishing in. Surface Temp. was around 52, lots of fish from 30 ft. on down. From what I heard, purple was the color that was working the best. Hope you do better that we did, I will probably try G.P...

    GP

Couldn't stand it anymore, so went to GP on Saturday, had to get the "skunk" off a new rod and reel. The water was in pretty good shape considering the weather, water Temp. around 46, or as my buddy say's "pretty damb cold!" Fished up near the Island, the fish seemed more schooled up than I...
