The usual tactics work for me up there, If ya live in the Treasure Valley I would go see the folks at Kokanee Tackle. I always go thru Bear Valley so have not heard about the Warm Lake route. I will be up there, Green Ford w/ truck camper and blue and silver Lund....look me up, ya can buy a cool...

Saturday Fished for about 4 hrs. ..just one hit, tried all the usual tactics. I did meet FormulaBen today, was nice chattting w/ ya.

One thing is for sure....something always happens when ya go to Deadwood. How is it launching a boat up there this time of year ? I usually go in as soon as the snow clears each year so the the reservoir is always pretty full, and launch at the penisula. Thanks,

Went up to the derby, was nice meeting some other koke fisherman, didn't win but landed some nice kokanee and one perch. They are on the smoker now.

Anyone use it ?....Kinda late to ask I guess, already bought one. My Lowrance needed a new transducer and GPS antenna so I figured I might as well spend $50.00 extra and get a 10 year newer model. Any tips on setting it up for Kokanee ? Thanks,

I use my cellphone or tablet, there are some topo map apps that you can install and download files for where you are going, save to to device and use offline.

Thanks alot for the quick info...I may have to tent camp...I usually pull the boat my fifth wheel, but in OR. that is not allowed, according to one website anyway.Looks like a pretty nice campground at Green Peter, will be watching for the reports over the next week. Thanks Alot Again, Scott

Hey Guys, From Boise and wife has a conference in Portland next Thursday, was think of dragging the boat along and hitting Green Peter for the weekend. Can anyone offer advice on camping there ?....or would it be worth it to the haul the boat ?....or any other suggestions on where to go for...

Fished in the wind Saturday (3-22) for a few hours, 4 Kok's and a couple trout.....long lining pink hoochies and corn with plain chrome dodger seemed to be the thing, nothing on downriggers.

Fished Sunday.....boated 4 Kokes about 13", lost about 6 at the boat (rookie net guy) and probably another 6 between hook-up and boat....and a few small trout. LOTS of boats fishing !!! Green wedding ring with corn seemed to be working best, but they were hitting about everything. Do you guys...

Today's report...WINDY...water temp 39.....hooked a couple on green wedding ring with red shoepeg before I became tired of fighting the wind....anyone use a driftsock or trolling sock when it's windy ?

4-21 (3) trout...a bunch of sqawfish and no Kokes...trolled between boat ramp and dam...the trout were on top, downriggers never had a hit.

I guess I know where I'm goin' Saturday...Thanks for the reports guys !
