thanks for the reply, i read the reports of fishing at lake chelan and lake merwin during the winter time and thought, i'll ask on this forum about lake samish. from what i've seen samish does't have a super great fishery. thanks, redfred

Fished Lake Samish today, started about 8:00am, quit at noon. Two small ones kept because they were bleeding. Lost three at boat, lost 3 long line, also several small perch caught and released.

do you feel that the lamiglaqss kokanee jj rod is a better action rod that the tica kokanee rod ? I haven't fished for kokanee for about 20 years, need to start over with all new gear. any tips on gear would be great. Thanks, redfred
