    Still lots of kokanee there 10-12" but by the time you buy oregon license & pay gas & camp fees, i just stay home.

    With the water cloudy like it is now, the Jack Lloyd would be a huge advantage. They are still made in Renton Wa. & I have an inquiry in to one of their distributors for local retailers. I will post it when I get it. ;)

    Rush Rock The big koks you caught early are probably in the creeks getting ready to spawn.The koks biting now are next years spawners. The water in Lucky Peak comes out of the bottom of Arrowrock so I would think it is just as cloudy as LP. Just have to wait for next years "crop" of bigger ones.

    ericsod, Did the boat come with down-riggers? The koks are pretty deep this time of year, usually 50-70'. Good luck.

    I did about 5 years ago . They were about 70+' down & I threw about 1/2 of them back as they were just starting to turn red. Caught one about every 10 minutes tho. Best fishing was b/t Casey ck & dam including some nice rainbows. Hotter then than this year too. I bought some live maggots in M H...

    The hi water ramp sounds a little iffy but the low water one has a 100' of water on it. Let us know if you go, I was planning on trying it later this week.

    I have seen this before when kokanee fishing in Canada. I think they are feeding because they seem to hit anything.

    Where to go in August for Kok's

    Anderson Ranch is only 30% full. Water is probably getting warm & fish are small,8-10". Possible lots of traffic up there with the fires. Seems like kokanee fishing it is over for this year.

    Went to LP friday ,got on water at 7:30 along with 5-6 other boats. Nothing doing till 10:15, then picked up 2 in 5 minutes.Double header at 11:30, 3 of them 15", 1 slightly smaller. Lost 3 in between. Not going to be good fishing weekend as a LARGE" boogie board" group setting up for a few...

    I have never used it when the lake was lower than it is now, however I have been told that the paving goes on down so you can launch when the lake is about 20+ ft lower than it is now. Yaw, the slope is not steep enough for my 14' alum boat either, caused me to get a bath early this year...
