Just a quick report from our first ever day of Gorge fishing.
In a nutshell, a steady pick bite from daylight to about 10 am.
Nothing red hot for us, but we did manage 8 kokes in the first
3.5 hours today, 3 rainbows up to 3 pounds and a handfull of macks.. Of course the thrill was the size of the kokes....
Average size was 19-21 inches and I'd guess 2.5 to 4 pounds.( forgot my scale) First one came at 50 ft and the rest were all over the board and all
the way up to the surface as I was letting back a line!...
Fishing is tough, water is dirty down to Upper Marsh, but I heard a few guys on the radio talking about finding some decent action...We'll see what tomorrow brings!.........
