Thanks

Went to Arrowrock today. Caught a few nice trout but no kokes. Had boat trouble and was towed in by the nicest anonymous gentleman on the lake. Just wanted to shout out a huge THANK YOU! Idaho has some great people.

your father-in- law lied to ya!!!!!!!!!!

not related to Anderson, but thought I would share. We didn't get any crappie, but we got well over a hundred perch. Good sized, too. Strait out from cottonwood, 25 feet. drop to the bottom and give it one crank up. None stop action

fished sunday, monday, tuesday, landed fish each day. threw some back that were not what we were looking for. best day was Tuesday we landed 16 fish. WAY FUN!!!!!!!! Funny how when people see you netting fish they start following you and cut in front of you? Or better yet they see you circling a spot and they come straight through you. Or drive right over your troll line less then 40 yards away? They try and squeeze you out? I give notice...... I will scrap paint with you and smile at you.......
TEAM ZAG ZIG!

congrats on the perch, I fished Anderson today until heat cooked my brain, got one koke on brass ford fender and pink hoochie, and one salmon took a silver ford fender and wedding ring. can't give a definite depth.

slow

Fished Anderson Monday and this morning. Sorry to report that we did not even get a bite. Tried most everything in the tackle box from 15-50 feet. Did not mark many either on the fish finder. Fished from Curlew to halfway to Fall Creek.

Talked with a few other boaters and one said he fished 8 hours and caught one. The people at the hotel and the Pine store said they are hearing that it is real slow but if you do land something it is good sized.

Reservoir is pretty full at 93% (hydromet) so maybe a lot of food from run off - who knows. I will try again in a few weeks.

Fished Luckypeak today. Got 10 in the boat, got another 6 to the boat and lost them, and lost 5 or 6 more shortly after hooking them. Sizes from 10" to 16". Pretty fun day of fishing..

6/23-6/24 Anderson Trip

These are the ones we got last Thursday night and Friday morning. The fish nearest the beer can went 2.6 lbs on an electronic scale.

Starting to see a solid pattern now at LP. Having consistent action even when the armada isn't around springs shores and the first skinny spot towards the LP dam. Simple neon/green/body with small hammer silver blade wedding ring 22" behind a small four blade silver/orange flasher (smaller flashers are out performing larger right now) in the early am or clouded cover DR sets 12ft to 20ft. By 9am on a sunny day you had better moved to an orange neon body or your just fishing instead of catching. (1.8mph ish..but standard lots of change in speed if it doesn't happen in a pass over a good spot)

Mostly tipping with a single shoepeg soaked in the blue herring giz. Also note that even though everyone who fishes kokes knows you can't use yellow corn I've found at least 30 LP kokes that don't care whether it's yellow or white.

Used to pretty much live by the pink hoochie or micro hoochie behind a silver dodger but the old school wedding ring behind a bladed flasher has been 10 time more productive at LP for my boat.

Im running two poles with entirely different set ups, and Im catching about the same amount of fish on each one (give or take a few). On one rod i have a pink small dodger with a pink hootchie and pink corn with shrimp oil. On other rod I have a watermellon flasher with an orange wedding ring. I catch slightly more on the orange. My buddy was using a green dodger on one, and red on another. I caught 5 to his one.. I caught them from 16 to 28 ft, depending on where I was in the reservoir. Caught most of my fish in about a three hundred square yard area, which was nowhere near the armada of boats I saw in other spots..

Trolled from sun up til noon today. 6 ranging from 10 to 12 inches. No biggies. One nice trout. And did more than our share towards pike minnow eradication. 30 ft down on pink hoochies and kokabows

Fish today (July 4th) at LP. We caught our Kokanee limit in 5.5 hrs. The reservoir was busy with all kind of boats, there were few fishing boats scattered from the dam to Goose Neck Bay. Fishing was good. We trolled from Piperline Creek to Goose Neck bay. DR from 15' ~ 25' deep. Copper dodger + pink squid + shoepeg corn + scent.
Seagull had their share when we cleaned the fish, after the meal they kept follow our boat for a while.

July 4th

Started at 6 am July 4th. Tried for them from 15 to 30 feet deep. Not a thing tell we finally dropped to 40 and 50 feet. Then it got pretty good. Caught my biggest so far a 20" (no scale sorry) Long lines where 70' back 4 oz of lead Kokabow Water mellon dodger and green spiner. Pink hoochie works good to with gold and silver dodger. Down Rigger same stuff. Depth was the key.

Great quiet day naling kokes & eating sausage. Pink hoochies / firecorn
