6-19 report at Green Peter

Got up at an uncomfortable early hour and headed out. On the lake ready to fish at 5:30 and didnt have many friends out there.I have to say I was kind of suprised by that. Anyway motored over to the island because I dont know any better and finally scoped a bunch of fish off the east end. Had a heck of a bite for about an hour on the old faithfull protrolls and filled up one cooler. Started in on 2nd cooler and things slowed down. Put on some of the new Cha Cha Kokanee squids from Macks lures and things got better! I really like them except the hooks suck. Hadnt lost a fish on drop shot hooks protrolls but lost about a third on store bought Macks. Guess Im gonna have to retie. Anyway fish for me came at 45 to 50 feet and were all caught on Gulp Maggots. Dont know what final talley was but the guy I gave them to at the dock seemed happy. Have fun......Daveo

glad someone was boating em, i hooked 17 and only put 4 in cooler. my hook size is to small i believe (thats my b/s excuse)
