8/2 and beating the heat

We had lines in the water by 6:00 a.m. and limits plus a bonus Bow by 7:30. We started fishing right out in front of Buckboard and fish were primarily stacked between 35’ to 40’. As is my norm, I had a variety of colors down to start and they all caught a couple fish.

Nice Dave, 1 more trip for me to the Gorge but not sure when. It can happen on a whim.

Almost a repeat performance today if we could have gotten the fish in the boat early but a lot hook spitters today. However, we did get some pigs.

I've got to make a trip to there next year! Need to buy a more fuel efficient truck and lighter boat first.
