10 June 2011 started 1600-2000. Me, Duroboat rider and my son went out after a long week decided to hit American on a Friday night. To be honest fishing was tough and the tactics from Duroboat was key to putting fish in the boat. At times we were running 5 rods, 4 of which were on the riggers at various depths. Every rod had vances dodger with rocky mountain spatter super squid in pink or chartreuse tipped with pink Berkley’s maggot and DNA kokanee gel. This was the key to putting fish in the boat all squids were outfitted with 4 to 5 small glow beads on them. So we are trolling along and Duroboat’s Rods were putting fish in the boat and I asked hey when you bring that in are you hitting it with the UV light he said yea. So we started bringing all other rods in and hitting them with the UV light. The glow beads and the UV light were key to putting fish in the boat. All fish were caught between 31-40 feet down with most being caught at the 40 ft mark. Trolling speed was .8 to 1.7. Water temp was almost 64.4. We didn’t catch a limit of 15, but we picked up 8, but we had an awesome time on the water.

Ahh you make me feel better for buying the two UV products this year. I was just thinking ---- I'm guessing this is one of those products that caught more fishermen than fish! Of course it would help if I remember to bring it along from time to time as well.

I got some liquid spray on stuff and some UV paint to coat spinners. I hope it helps me out like it did you.

Nice catch , and yes it was a hard time fishing last night I was there with my 3 kids and we only boated 3 kok's and lost 5 ! I was hooking them deep in 80-90 ft of water 55ft down off the riggers I think we seen you out there I was in a 15ft tideruner black top !
