I got to American around 8:30. I talked to a few people and they said they got their fish early in the morning. I figured we would stick it out and see If we could scratch some fish out. My son Cole was with me from the beginning and was rewarded with a 14" Kokanee:
After my daughters ballet class, she begged my wife to drop her off at the lake. We picked her up around 10:30 and nothing really happened until 11:30 or so.*
Cole caught another 14" Kokanee and then we proceeded to catch A LOT of trout. Cone to find out there was a bunch released today. The funniest story of the day is that every time a trout was landed, Madi would cry a little and say " we came for Kokanee, not for trout". I guess I may have brainwashed her. Lol
We had another Kokanee up to the boat, but lost it. Cole was the only one Who landed Kokanee, but to make Madi feel a little better, we took a picture with the both of them. My oldest son informed me he is going to go every other trip.
Uv dodger and clear uv squid was ticket for me!
