Hit the ramp at 5:45am, motored to the north fishing 7-30 001.jpg side of the island and started putting Kok's in the boat right away. Could not have asked for a better day fishing, the weather was great, fishing was very good and the water flea's did not show untill we were done fishing.
We had our 10 fish limit at 9:45am. We tryed spinners and hoochies, But Apex's ruled the morning. We ran apex's behind Shasta Tackle double 4" sling blades (see attached photo's). 32ft deep was the best bite. Trolling speed was 1 to 1.4mph. Shoepeg with pro cure predator scent and shoepeg with vanilla were the best scents. Also Shasta tackles new "flasher Releases" were on all our downriggers, they are a hot ticket don't leave home with out them.

I'm going to go for the larger fish this weekend, I've never fished for ocean salmon up here so I'm going to give Sekiu a try Sat. and Sunday. If any of you are up there I'll be on 68. If anyone has any hot tips I'd be greatfull.
