Fished the North Side of Silcox this A/M. Launched at 7:30 A/M and had a fish in the boat boat by 8:00. Fishing is still pretty slow and the wind this morning made trolling a bit of a challenge. Caught the Kok at 27 ft using a Bugeye K-02 Kokanee Spinner that eenakok gave me (Thanks David!) and a Sep's 4/0 - UV Fruit Salad Dodger. Trolling speed was 1.0 mph.

Like I mentioned, the Kok fishing is still pretty slow. Fished from 7:30 to 10:30 A/M and just had that one hit. Based on my experience, Chartruse appears to be a decent producer, at American, early in the season. The water temp was 44 degrees. Hopefully, in a week or two the water temp will get closer to the 50 degree range. I've been getting skunked a lot lately so it was nice to finally catch a fish.

Thanks for the report. Weatherman predicted rain but today is nice and sunny here in Sumner, would have been a good day to try American Lake. Your success is encouraging me to try it again; got skunked a couple of weekends ago. 101goodpost101

Well done Kokanee_Slayer. I too have been getting skunked a lot lately and have failed to post anything. I was on the lake yesterday for around 3-4 hours and not even a bump. But I did catch someones LUre-Jenson pop gear and Mack's wedding ring I got to close to the island while blind fishing (no finder) and scooped him up. Last year my down rigger got me a new 20lb bell anchor LOLthumbsuplaugh hyst
