Finally couldnt resist, went to American Lake this morning with my son, fished north of the Island for about 4 hours, starting about 830AM, no luck. We saw about a half dozen other boats, talked to 2 of them, no luck there either. Guesss water is too cold (41 degrees). Maybe we started too late. Anybody else have a more optimistic report?
 
Roger, I have heard reports froma handful of guys out there today. Wheather obviously was warm, the water, as you know, is not. We need some heat.. Come'on sun. I heard of one 14" koke and a nice 22" rainbow. At least you got out and put in the effort...

Yes, we desperately need some warmer weather. Nice job on getting out. One of these days it will pick up. Hope to see you out there soon.
