American Lake 5.9.2011

We got to the lake around 8:30 again. This time is was only my little girl Madi, and my friend. The Lake was definatley differnet then Saturday, there was no wind or rain. The fishing was a lot slower then we had it on Saturday, but hey, thats fishing!!

10 out of the 11 fish were all caught freelining without any weight.

The setup was a green seps dodger and green squid with a blade in front.
50 pulls back.

My fried said that he is now hooked into fishing for Kokanee. He has got the bug bad and is ready to go anytime. He was excited when we caught a rainbow trout becuase blackened trout is his favorite fish to eat. I told him after he cooks the kokanee, let me know how that goes.

winter. I made my 1st trip to American this same day. Good to see you
did well. I did try a little free-lining but with pink gear. fished the West
shoreline. I was hoping it would warm up a bit. The other boats around me
were getting a few. I learned more from your comments than the attempt.
