American Lake 5/9/2012

I trolled on American Lake from 8AM to 1PM today, caught one nice kokanee about 15", lost another that i never saw. I was using a pink wedding ring, pink hoochie, corn and maggots, a small dodger. Caught the koke trolling at about 0.5 MPH fishing a downrigger about 22' down, about 80' of line out. I talked to one other fisherman who also had one koke, said he caught a bunch of trout. Beautiful weather.

Your doing alot better than me. Been out twice this week and no kokes. The mrs.is getting a few trout tho. This kok season is killing me.

I believe it read from 55-57.

seems like any moment those buggers should be boiling at the top and hitting hoochies in a frenzy. I wonder whats taking them so long? 55-57 seems just right! Ill try in the a.m.
