American Lake Porkers 08-10-12

Haven't fished American since early/mid May so thought I would give it a shot. Pulled into the parking lot and saw TrollNfisher's tow rig and figured he probably had a few already in the boat . By the time I got set-up, he landed his first one. We really had to hunt for them but nonetheless, I ended up with 3 nice Koks in the boat. Tried some of my newer gear to no avail so I resorted to the old faithful Silver Sling Blade Dodger with a pearlesent UV hootchie and it was "Game On". Fish were caught at 45ft and 17 pulls back. Darren landed the largest at around 18 inches. It was a beautiful morning on the lake and as always, it was great spending time with TrollNfisher.

Both you and Darren have been putting a hurt on the kokes in American as of late!!! Isn't it great to come back to an ole favorite lake to find the big boys!!!

Save some for me guys, I'll be out of town the next week, talking with fly fishermen and women.
