Ok!
This is my first report in Washington. I fished American Lake on Sat. 4th.
Started fishing at 7:45am, dropped my downriggers in 100 yards from the ramp and headed for the island. I marked alot of fish from 25 to 35 feet deep. I offered those fish apex's, spinners in many colors for the first 2 hours and did not get a bite so at 9:30 I put on a Shasta tackle white UV wiggle hoochie in back of a 6" uv sling blade, put 3 Kok's to the boat in 15 minutes. The kok's were 12", 12.5" and 13". All were fat and had lots of fight. All were caught at 30ft deep, 1.2MPH to 1.4MPH. All fish were caught between the ramp and the island. I fished for 2 more hours with out a bite. Better than a skunk!
It was a clear day and the view of Mt Rainer was very cool!
On Sunday I drove to but did not fish Summit Lake...is it a good Kokanee lake?
