Part of my staycation involved the saltwater, coastal rivers, local rivers and my favorite lk, American! Fished it Friday got a late start, heck I was on vacation, so got there around 9:00am and fished until 10:30am 10:45am roughly.
Managed 3 doubles by myself, and a couple lost fish, oh well can't catch them all. Nothing any bigger than 16" though. So I finished out the morning going 15 for 17 somewhere in there. Good to see those little guys still have alot of spunk still left in them!
I also got a chance to talk with a nice couple on the water in a White Alumaweld, they were just getting started when I was headed back to the launch. So I told them how deep a water I was fishing and how much cable I had out. I hope they got into them! Met a guy at the launch too "Stradic" I think he mentioned his online name was. It was great talking with you, and getting to know more about my favorite lake! I hope this fishery flourishes in the future, and if I or the company I work for can contribute to its continued success please don't hesitate to contact me!
On a quick side note.... Sorry I missed you in Pt Angeles Capt. Pete, I had a couple of tired guys with me to make a stop. But your just going to have to come south and fish American with me so we can jig up some kokes before you head out of town!!!
See you folks on the water!
