To add to the clutter of Kokonuts out there on your favorite waters.laugh hyst
Been fishing all my life and have actively pursued kokanee for about 35 years. As I've said before, the fishery is great for two reasons:
#1 - It doesn't suck as bad as the South Sound salmon fishery.
#2 - You never have to worry or sweat the tides.
#3 - See #2!
There's also a great camraderie out there when koke fishers meet. Like minds and like spirits. You can be on any of the many lakes here in Washington State and you'll be able spot 'em and share your sucesses or failures, share notes on gear and depth. Oh yea, there's a few Kokonuts that are zipper-lips but they're all characters.
Hope to meet w/one or two of ya soon on some waters close to home.
