My wife and I thought last week was unreal out on the bay, this week was even better. We managed another 2 limits of both walleye's and wipers with a bonus catfish. We released at least as many wipers as fish caught trying to get our last three walleye.

Live only 2miles away and haven't gone after wipers or walleyes. The netting on around your wife's head reminds me of why I don't venture out there. Bugs, bugs, & more bugs.

Decided to take a ride to Willard today. I made 2 stops along the shoreline to watch the carp go thru their gyration. Not many out on the lake now that we are past the holiday weekend. The bugs were so bad I couldn't inhale without filling my lungs. Just a reminder why I stay away from this place. 101duh101

I know what you mean about the bugs, I try not to show up unless the wind is blowing. Last Sunday there was no wind to speak of and I did have a few for lunch whether I wanted them or not. The thing I find strange is all the fish I cleaned over the last 2 weeks all had empty stomachs.
