We fished straight out across from the boat launch at Anvil Draw on Wednesday. We were using purple and green kokanuts and we also used a
christians lakeshore tackle in glow with a purple spinner( I hope I spelled the
name right). We ended up with 2 kokes in the boat and lost three other before we could get the net on them. About 11 am we decided to call it a day when our rods went off. We ended up bringing 4 more jokes in for the cooler and probably released another 6 or so by noon. I know all my fish that were released survived. All released fish were done so involuntarily on my part, otherwise they would have ended up on the smoker.nananana Our biggest went 19" and we had 3 more that were in the 17" range and the other 2 were15 and 16". The last bite was all on the color pink. The weather was perfect with just a slight breeze and not much for swells. My dog tried to get in on the action eating the tail of one of the kokes.
