Any reports for East Lake?

Heading up to East Lake for a few days next week, any one have any input?
Last year I was there for a few days and limited out nearly every time out vertical jigging pink and white Gibbs Minnow with corn.
Hoping for similar results this year but haven't seen anything posted from East Lake so wondering if things are slow there.

Was at east 2nd thru 6th got about 40 nice ones 11 to 13 inches trolled red slide to white slide in about 100 feet water didn't have any luck jigging, pink worked best sling blades, and ford fender with pink or some red on the end. Have fun you have to work for them but they are there fish early seemed like about noon it really slowed. Good luck KK

Thanks for the update on East Lake. Were using down riggers?

Caught some on down rigger caught the rest with 1/2 and 3/4 oz lead got them down toabout 25 to 30 feet hope that helps.

Just got back to where we have internet after 10 days at East Lake. Had a great visit there and fishing was great. Limited every day but a couple with fish between 13" and 15" (a little larger than last year I thought). The first few days most fish were caught trolling a Rebel Wee Crayfish, and the last week drifting a Callibaetis about 2' behind a black Wooly Bugger.
Seems as though the jig bite was off as few were being caught that way. It was fun learning new presentations and catching those little guys on the fly rod was fun to say the least.
Thanks for the help and tips, already put our request in for camping there two weeks next year!

Jigging was slow in the evening of the 24th. I tried drifting flys but didn't have the right setup I guess. We had some hits and a couple on. Not many boats on the water and never saw a fish caught. Talked to a few guys at the ramp. One guy caught some drifting flys. The other two groups were camping and said it wasn't worth the trouble going out. Sorry for the poor report. GOOD LUCK!!!
