You might try to make a phone call to one of the businesses in Pine to see if the reservoir is still frozen. I went too early one year and had the option of coming back home or ice skating.

The last few times I have been into the Sportsman Warehouse, it's posted that they are targeting Kokes at the dam, in 40' of water. Good luck, Jt

Anderson Reservoir: Boats can be launched at Elk Ck. At boat ramp checked a 12” kokanee caught on worms. Open water to the Lime Creek and S. Fork junction, then the ice starts.
 
I was there last weekend! There was an small island of ice floating around the northend prob football field size ,other than that didnt see anymore!We took the pontoon boats out ,caught a 3lb smallie on a swedish pimple,A bull trout on a red rattletrap,and a big pikeminnow that fell asleep in the net!Water temp was around 38-42 dgs.Should be on in the next few weeks!Good luck!
 
My buddy knocked the heck out of rainbows last week. Across the dam and down a ways he reported. Using worm and marshmallow out about 20 feet from the shore. All 12" to 17" fish. Smoked them and gave me a couple.
