After almost a week without wetting a line, I had to get get back on the water. The weather conditions did not look to favorable for Sunday calling for wind gusts from 10-13mph and rain throughout the day. But I've always been an advocate of "fish when you can" and today was the day before heading back into the office. So I talked my wife Kim into coming along as she hadn't seen me for a week also and wanted to do some catching.........uhh catching up of her own. She now has proof that see can catch more kokanee than me!

I also wanted to try out some new dodgers a friend is developing, and wanted to give him some feed back on how they worked. As you can see from the pics they work, they swim like no other, they have a painted finish on both sides, and along with being totally UV coated is the ticket!!! Thanks Dave!!! I can't wait to R&D some of the other colors!!!

Great catching and Nice report Winterun!!

Thanks K_S!!!
But I haven't seen you, your boat or wannafish on the lake since this picture I took of you too. As you can see from my finder pic there's plenty of sea life out there, and Stradic, Ret Sgt Maj, and myself have had some good days all of June and so far this late into July!!!
I know there's salmon to get after also, but if all you got is just a few hours in the morning its all you need to get your kokanee fix right!!!
See you on the water soon,
Winterun
