Bear Lake 4/20/2012

Me and my pops hit bear lake yesterday and had an excellent day of fishing, however, cathching for us, was slow. We only ended up with one fish in the net and it was a fatty female cutt. Silver flat fish trolling. Can't beat a day of fishing on Bear lake without the wind. And we filled out typical quotta for the boat up there of 1 fish. Good to be back out on the water.

We got out Saturday and had same result - one cut. Nice fish about 5-6 lbs and it had an unbelievable pot belly with three 8" planter trout stocked the day before. It obviously thought it could handle one more as it hit a 6" deep diver.

we were out saturday as well and managed 1 6lb 3oz cutt that had 5 of he little guys in it it should be slow for at least a week up there also there was about 500-1000 of the little guys dead a the 1st point ramp the airator pumps went out on the truck before they made it to the lake might as well ring the dinner bell

Seems like most have had similar success. We did talk to a guy that caught 3 in about 5 hours, however he said he fishes it hard every weekend and it has slowed down a bit.
