Well, we fished BL today. On the water at 7:30 off at 1:00. Cold and windy 4 to 5 ft swells. Rough day. Landed one small cut. We were the only boat on the water on the west side until about 12:30 when one other came out. Did not mark a lot of fish. Will see what next weekend brings. If its anything like it was today, I will take a rain check

I think we all will weather check before going. Let's hope for nice weather. This recent weather pattern has sent everyone scurrying for warmth but now it's back to spring/fall conditions.
 
count me out have surgery that week and just got back home from the hospital debbie just had her second stroke.
 
Appears the long range weather report for the 5th is perfect conditions. Sunny & fall conditions but too soon to tell of the big "W" conditions. Need confirmation of all attending and do you want a gathering at the end with a potluck? I will be there with Petty4life. thumbsup
 
yes sir, weather is looking good. much better than this looming goverment shutdown. If that goes through, this keeps the wifey without a pay check. This puts a damper on the funds and might keep me home also. guess will see what these damn politicians decide to do. not looking to good though.
 
Looks as though I'm still good to go, and I can go along with whatever the others want. I was going to go up today, but the wind blew here yesterday afternoon and prediction was for wind all day today, so called it off. Glad I did because it sure blew all night here in Cache valley, and is still going strong. I imagine that even big girl panties not a real help in the W except if you can rig them as a drift sock.
 
Roger , I'm planning on being up to Bear Lake on the 12th. If you want to do the pot luck again that will be fine. I'm going to try to make more than one trip that weekend.

Dan I will be there if weather permits it. Let's see who chimes in for the 12th so we can plan accordingly.
 
Hi Roger , I think I can make the trip to Bear Lake on Saturday after all. I was sent home yesterday around 9:00am. I was going to go up to the Elk Camp with my son , but I decided that it was going to cost me too much money to stay up there for the length of time I had originally planned on. I don't mind using a tank of fuel to go fishing , so I guess I'll see you guys up there . Let me know what time are you planning on leaving . By the way where do you plan to launch ?
 
Cool Dan, we'll be launching out of the state park in Garden City. Plan on leaving here about 5am and hoping to be on the water by 0730.
 
Roger, how do you want to handle things? If you have the grill, should we each bring our own for grilling and something for pot luck? That might be easiest in case some end up not making it. Should just be me and buddy in my boat.
