All I can say is lights out, Flaming Gorge style fish in CA, in April no less. I just walked in the door and am exhausted from an unbelieveable day. The picture will speak volumes but I'll be back later to fill in the gaps and questions.
My buddy, Ben, picked me up at 5:15 a.m. this morning and headed for Berryessa. We were backing down the ramp at 6:30 a.m. A short ride to the Big Island where we started fishing with a few other friends in other boats. The day started out cold and windy but about an hour into it, the sky opened up with pure blue and calm winds. By then, we all had multiple fish to the boat. On our boat, orange spinners were the ticket while pink seemed to be the answer in our other friends boat. Depth was between 30' and 40 on the wire in 60 to 90 feet of water.
