I see on a few areas where others are moving up to bigger (size 5 and 6) Indiana blades on their wedding ring style spinners. Claims are more strikes. I have always used size 2,, as do commercial makers like Macks. Any thoughts on it here??

When I first started I used larger blades because I figured bigger was better. Thought they would see and feel (blade vibration) more. After a few years I decided that was a very big spinner for such a little fish so I down sized.

I've caught more fish more consistently in the past two years. I've also changed around other parts of my presentation getting it dialed in so I can't say for sure it is the blade size. I do plan on sticking to my system with my current success rate.

Just my .02

I think most #5's & #6's are commonly used by Walleye guys. The size of blade for Kokanee gear is rather wide. I have blades from #0 to #3. #0's for small tubes and micro hoochies. #1's for regular hoochies and #2's & #3's for beaded spinners.
