I have not been out but stopped by the cleaning stations 6/23 going to a job up in Gunnison, sounds like the lake is clearing enough from the runnoff for the kokes to see a lure!! fishing sounded decent in the soap creek arm. Size at the cleaning station looked mid 2lb range...should get good from here on out.

I fished Blue Mesa a month ago and caught everything but kokanee. I had a friend just come back from 2 weeks of fishing there and only averaged 1 kokanee a day. He has been fishing there for 25 years and knows the lake really well. Sounds like things are off to a slow start.
